We have high stress and business trips to thank for RED CAP.  

They provoked Tom Altemus' ultimate decision to leave corporate life for the simpler, more pleasurable things in life... and California wines was one of them.

10 years and 3 kids later, atop the summit of Howell Mountain sits Red Cap vineyards yielding some of the most incredible  grapes and the highest praise of the Napa valley.  Fruit quality is exceptional, resulting in impeccable wines with a dazzling aromatic presence.

The 2016 Howell Mountain Cabernet is a beautiful example of this lush vintage. Thick and oaky,  this red settles in the glass to reveal an elegant understudy of refinement and elegance.
