OCEANOS Oyster sampler Best oysters near Paramus

 1.    As a noun: A term blending love and shucking (the act of opening an oyster), symbolizing the process of opening up emotionally in love, revealing hidden depths, or uncovering something precious within a relationship—just like finding a pearl inside an oyster.

2.    As a verb: The act of embracing love with vulnerability, peeling away emotional barriers, or making romantic moments feel effortless and natural.

It started like any other of their typical dinner dates ( if you could call it that). She was giving him the “I’m mentally moving to a tropical island without you” look. He was giving her the “ I don’t know what I did wrong, this time, but I feel it ” vibe.

They weren’t here to rekindle anything; they were here because therapy is expensive, and their lawyer suggested a ‘last supper’ before the split. She had heard about the oysters at OCEANOS  and decided one last hurrah.

She slurped hers first. Her eyes closed in pure surrender. He felt it. The change was immediate. A sigh. A smile. A look.

He followed suit. first Salt. then Sweetness. A tingle in his throat, a warmth in his chest. That flicker of something long-lost...Was that—was that desire?!?

She was looking forward now to devouring this next one. Her eyes softened and a playful smirk appeared on her lips as she sipped before swallowing, She caught his gaze and tilted her head. “Not bad, huh? ” Right then he knew...

They reached for the same one. Their hands touched. Neither was wanting to pull away. Was this … flirting? He leaned in closer, touched her hair. Oh yeah. Game on.

By now, he’s reveling in the pleasure of a perfectly shucked kumamoto, swirling the flavor in his mouth as he’s remembers the many wild nights they shared in their past. She leans in, lips parted, and whispers in his ear, ‘can you handle seconds? ’.

By the time their server returned, he was stroking her arm, she was gazing into his eyes and they were laughing at something no one else could dare imagine. Oh, And yes, they did order another round—this time, not for survival, but for pleasure.

OCEANOS didn’t serve just any oysters that night.

We served a second chance at hidden desire, turning a simple dinner into something ...legendary.

The best part is that you don’t need Valentine’s to feel this way. love shucks every night here at OCEANOS with the best of oysters near you.
