From his rebellious beginning in the early ’90s, his winery now spans over 145 hectares in Sancerre and Tourraine, producing over 1.5 million bottles with ( drum roll!) ... zero pesticides and herbicides.
The result? A highly praised historic "cru" of the Sancerre appellation that is extremely pure and refined. 100% Sauvignon Blanc grape variety - (America’s #1 go-to wine during the pandemic!) - this Le Chêne Marchand 2020 is adorned with a golden color, its complex nose oscillating between lemon zest and spicy and mineral notes.
